If anything. the blame and hatrade should directed towards our leaders with execption of high calibre leaders like THOMAS SENKARA of BURKINA FASSO and IAN KHAMA of BOTSWANA. These are the real great iconic Heros of Africa.

Plse africans. U have been given a platform to talk about Billionaires "That are not mentioned" so that they can be included next time. What do you do "KILL EACH OTHER". Disunity-Is this not the reason Africa still fails to progress? We were divided a longtime ago when they drewup borders for us in Europe and gave us the name Africa. As a new generation we should be working together and be supportive of one another & be working out how we can chart our way out of this position that our Colonial masters left us. We should be fighting for equllity for all africans rather than divisive little squabbles. Yes there are Billionaire Africans North-East-West and South, some legitimate others not so, but the fact remains. What will the owners of this platform think of us when they see what we have exhibited. they will just say ITS TYPICAL and give us the tools of confrontation while our resources become an easy loot.

no need to worry about the african billioners, the most important things is how did they got there money, what kind of things do they manufacture,or did they rob a nation to become a billioner?

example,we all know fine about bill gate as the owner of micro soft he use his brain, and others use my money and ur money to become a billioner,i think those kind of people are no way to be in the forbes, mostly in africa.

hello,my dear beloved Africans, it is interesting to know that despite all these years, we still have not realized that only empty barrels make loud and rumbling noises, hmmmm, have you guys ever heard of Europeans and Americans jumbling over nothing? have you heard of Asians ranting over non-sense? it's so dis-heartening to hear you all brag over nothing, when in actual truth you are all suffering. i think this is the highest level of mental dis-orderliness. bragging over other people's wealth knowing fully well they don't know if you ever exist. i think the best you can do is to strive hard to get to the destination of your dreams and then help eradicate the killer diseases(corruption and poverty) which is fast ravaging our dear continent. remember, all the worlds billionaire won't even spare their hard earned money not even for your praises on them. For your information, am a law student from Nigeria.

Look at that
"Tz,South african blacks are far beyond to be compared to nigerians" this is the statement you wrote you said it yourself and South african blacks are far beyond to be compared to nigerians (NOTE I AM ZIMBABWEAN) and for the record here in southERN africa(ZIMBABWE BOTSWANA MOZAMBIQUE SA..etc) we dont mind black or white african is in the mind not the skin which is why most africans of european orign reside here, we embrace diversity - which is why we have vistors from west african nations comming here as if they are neighbours next door. note for the recod embracing diversity is the key to our economic emacipation whichis why the southern african region is perfoming well exept for zimbabwe This is due to santions imposed by the western world. From my view nigerias weaknes is corruption and the niger delta sobotage acts, yet with its population, oil and human resources it can be come the CHINA OF AFRICAisuppose my would agree with me that nigeria is under performing even though they might be doing better than my african countries.

I am a Zimbabwean our Economy is In A BAD State full of Distortotions and i love that even though people say that werin a fix this is the biggest oppotunity for people like me and i suppose in an economy with chaos thats the biggest chance for those who have nothing to capitalise on the crisis and make wealth, Look at Nigeria .

Watch out for multi billionaires in Zimbabwe.

Mavundla the richest people in Mzantsi include Patrice Motsepe, a black mining tycoon. He is the first black billionaire to be listed in the Forbes list.
The usual suspects Nicky Oppenheimer and Anton Rupert also made the list ahead. Those three according to Forbes are three of South Africa's richest.

They're not discriminating against Africans. For Pete's sake, Forbes is a business like any other. The more countries that make the rich list, the more markets they can sell their magazines to and the more website hits they get. They WANT new entries from what some consider far-flung places. Dangote and a South African made the list this year. And the way the Nigerian stock market is rising, many others will be on the list in March 2009. They we can celebrate...but what the heck for?

As l was scrolling down the comments of my fellow africans; a deep and painful reality filled my mind and heart. We as a continent were robbed and stripped of our pride and dignity in clear daylight, over and above the siphoning of priceless cultural treasures and even more economic resources. lnstead of uniting and charging ahead as one great army and reasserting our position in the world it seems we rathe choose to huff and puff about matters that only lead to bitterness and disunity in a continent that needs the exact opposite!

Brothers and Sisters your fighting benefits those who refered to you as subhumans and regarded your motherland as a trampling ground on which to play their games of greed.

The threat we now face as a people is now from within; corrupt leaders who are supposed to be directing us to victory and african sellouts who speak ill of their own people for the pleasure of Africa's detractors.

l beg of you please, UNITE

You can either be a victim of the neo-colonial system or a hero of the pan african dream!

Good Bye

The threat we now face as a people is now from within; corrupt leaders who are supposed to be directing us to victory and african sellouts who speak ill of their own people for the pleasure of Africa’s detractors.

l beg of you please, UNITE

You can either be a victim of the neo-colonial system or a hero of the pan african dream!

Good Bye

My dear brothers and sisters,

I'm an African who left the motherland to go to school in the US. I have to say that it's very thwarting to read your comments (mainly Truth)about this division of Africa. If we can't unite to support our continent, then we'll go nowhere; We'll be stuck fighting amongs one another (as it seems to be the case in this blog). Perhaps it's what we are destined for. Please, my brothers and sisters, let's prove the world wrong about their perceptions of Africa. WE ARE NOT DESTINED TO FIGHT AMONGS ONE ANOTHER.
CAN'T WE ALL GET ALONG?

Truly yours
