This is a thorough analysis of a phenonemon in the western fashion industry.I would like to know how African fashion/media/entertainment leaders or trendsetters intend to promote the models, the brands and identity they portray in magazines, music videos to the general public and particulary the African public Abroad and at home ( especially there). If these women can not be the face of the products in the western world they should be the face of these products at home. Think of Yao Ming for the NBA in China.
Lebron,Kobe,Wade,A.I are better players and more famous, yet Yao Ming was picked as the face of NBA in China.
